This is a very popular area for walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. The Bondi to Coogee walk is an absolute must-do coastal walk in Sydney! The trail can often be crowded, but the jaw-dropping vistas and beautiful beaches easily overcome this at every turn. 
 
Sydney boasts some of the most iconic attractions in the world, and this trail is an excellent way to discover many of them. Starting at the famous Bondi Beach, the route takes in the Bondi Icebergs swimming club, following the paved path to the stunning Coogee Beach. You can make a full day of it by stopping at some gorgeous beaches, cliff-tops, natural rock pools, and cafes. If you happen to be in the area from late June to early July, it's also an excellent opportunity to try and spot some whales. There is great public transport to Bondi and Coogee for those who don’t wish to do a return walk. Apply plenty of sunscreen and wear a bathing suit to cool off on the many accessible beaches. There are many water sources and eating options along the way, so give yourself a break and grab a snack or drink. Give yourself time if you are snapping photos, grabbing food, and taking a dip.
